Vienna features among the cities with the highest quality of life worldwide. “Nothing special about that,” is how the inhabitants of the city see it. This is how they know their city, and they are simply content to live here.

This exhibition aims to provide a detailed and comprehensive overview of how Vienna lives and functions. You are invited to move from one vantage point to the next, gaining insights into the different structures and processes that make up the whole of this great urban organism. Following the descriptions and explanations of how it all hangs together, you will find that after all, there is something special about the way Vienna works. 

The exhibition "Vienna Know-how: Urban Technologies & Strategies" continued its international tour. A Turkish version of the exhibition was on display from 8 to 18 September at the 80th Izmir International Fair, of which Austria was the partner country. The Austrian pavilion and several fringe events were by the Austrian Economic Chamber. Vienna's City Councillor for Housing, Michael Ludwig, opened the exhibition in Izmir on 8 September 2011.

The entire trade fair booth was designed by the Vienna-based architects' office Neumayer. Art Director Christian Gallei's 3D visualisation of the exhibition has been voted among the top 10 3D models by the 3DVIA platform.

Viyana, dünyada yaşanmaya en değer şehirlerden bir tanesidir. Viyanalılar ve Viyana’ya sonradan yerleşenler, dünyanın yaşanmaya değer şehirlerinden en önemlisinin Viyana olduğunu, bu şehirde yaşamaktan mutluluk duyduklarını belirtiyorlar.

Şehirdeki bu düzenin işleyişi kendiliğinden olmuyor. Bu çalışmanın amacı, şehrin yaşamına detaylı ve kapsamlı bir bakış açısı sağlamaktır. Bütüne hangi noktadan bakarsanız bakın, karmaşık ayrıntıların nasıl çözüldüğünü anlatmak üzere yapılan bu çalışma, bu çözülüm sürecini ve hepsinin birbirine nasıl bağlı olduğunu açıklamak istemektedir.
